Graphic Identity Standards
President's Message
The University’s new graphic identity has been created at the request of the Board of Trustees to increase the coherence, consistency, and effectiveness of the messages the University presents to the world. It will provide a vital link between various written and other visual communications to reinforce our messages and present the University as one institution.
This manual offers guidelines and tools for implementing the graphic identity, especially through use of the official logo and University colors, as well as suggested typography and a complementary color palette. The manual will evolve as particular design questions are posed and answered. Please refer any technical questions to Publications Services, which has the authority to determine whether particular designs comply with the guidelines.
Through our efforts at greater consistency and coherence, we will strengthen the University's public image. The logo has been developed through an inclusive process in which many members of the University community participated. I want to thank you for that participation and for your continued cooperation, and enthusiastic support as we implement the new identity.
