River Campus Visitors - Parking Options

Visitors to River Campus can purchase one-day permits at the River Campus Information Booth for a fee of $4.00 (after 4pm the fee is reduced to $2.00), or they may use the meters along Wilson Blvd. for short term parking.

Parking permits are required on River Campus 7:30am to 7:00pm, except on weekends. Reserved spaces are reserved at all times.

Medical Center Visitors - Parking Options

Visitors and patients coming to the Medical Center may park in the Ramp Garage, located at the hospital's Main Entrance, or in the South Visitor Lot, located on Crittenden Blvd. opposite the Psychiatry Entrance. Valet parking is available to patients and visitors at the Hospital's Main Entrance Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For those coming to the Medical Center on a frequent basis, discounted parking passes and validation stickers are available at the Medical Center Parking Office, the Garage Parking Office, and the hospital Cashiers Office.

Visitor Parking Fees for the Ramp Garage, South Visitor Lot #3, Medical Research Building (MRB):

Note: If you are returning today, please ask the representative for a receipt and information handout. Take the receipt to the Cashier's Office, located in the Main Lobby-Ground Floor (G-1405) Garage Office (ramp garage by elevators), or the Ambassador's desk located in the Main Lobby.

Valet Parking is available:

Valet Parking is available at the Main Entrance Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The cost for valet parking is $7.00. This includes all parking fees.

For the convenience of patients and visitors parking in Medical Center Lots, these parking fee payment alternatives are now available:

Validation Stickers—Available @ $3.50 per sticker. Each sticker when presented at exit can be used in exchange for up to 24 hours of parking. If fee is less than $3.50, visitors may pay cash and save the sticker for a future visit. If using a sticker payment, EACH exit requires a sticker.

Purchase Limitations - A minimum of three and a maximum of ten stickers may be purchased at a time. Parents of pediatric patients and Bone Marrow Transplant patients may purchase double the maximum stickers at a special rate upon presentation of the SMH admission agreement. NO REFUNDS ON VALIDATION STICKERS.
Best Use - When you will be at the Medical Center for the majority of the day.

Passes - The cost of a 1-day parking pass is $5.00 less any parking fee receipt for that day presented at the time the pass is purchased. Day passes are valid up to 12:00 midnight on the date of issuance. Multiple-day passes (up to 7 days) are also available. NO REFUNDS ON DAY PASSES. If you will be returning on the same day, present that receipt at the Ramp Garage Parking Office, Main Lobby Ambassador Desk, Medical Center Parking Office or Cashier's Office in exchange for a pass for the rest of the day. RECEIPTS MAY NOT BE EXCHANGED FOR PASSES AT THE PARKING BOOTH EXITS. PASS IS VALID FOR ONLY ONE VEHICLE AT A TIME. NO DUPLICATION OF PASSES PERMITTED.

Purchase Limitations - Only one 1 day pass may be purchased at a time. NON-REFUNDABLE.
Best Use - If patient/visitor will be coming and going several times during the day/evening.

All the above fee payment options may be purchased at the Strong Memorial Cashier's Office (G-1405) M - F 8:30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m., Sat/Sun 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., the Ramp Garage Parking Office (M-F 7:45 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Sat/Sun 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.), the Medical Center Parking Office (G-6037) M-F 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or the Main Lobby Ambassador Desk M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
