IMSC has been awarded the 2013 Oracle Spatial and Graph Excellence Award in the Education and Research category. IMSC was selected for its use of Oracle Spatial and Graph technologies to teach USC masters and doctoral students, its work with the Transportation Decision-Making (TransDec) project, and its presentations at leading database conferences.

Voice of America Covers ClearPath

IMSC Director Cyrus Shahabi's latest transportation navigation app 'ClearPath' is introduced through Voice of America on March 6th. The clip covers function and value of ClearPath that differs from existing navigation app, and also its relevancy to Los Angeles where it always have severe traffic jam.

IMSC Annual Retreat 2013

IMSC hosted Annual Retreat on March 7th at USC Davidson Conference Center to report its achievement through out the year. Attendee list included researchers and engineers from Microsoft, Google, IBM, HP, Samsung, Chevron and so on, and scholars from USC and other universities.
