The culture of expecting rewarding shortcuts
Last week my first company got acquired (see: http://www.terragotech.com/news-and-events/press-releases/terrago-acquires-geosemble-technologies ). This is a company we started with a colleague of mine at USC, Craig Knoblock, in 2005.

One Year Anniversary
It has been one year since I assumed responsibility as the director of IMSC. In the past year we have been presenting the vision of IMSC to many visitors in industry, government, and international organizations.

2011 Leap
The beginning of the new year reminded me of all the unfulfilled promises of the future when I was a kid: flying cars, suspended buildings and easy commute in space.
