Supported Mac Operating Systems- Supported by the IT Center

At this time, University IT recommends that you wait to install Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) on production machines until your Desktop Liaison or other IT providers can ensure other applications won't be impacted by the new OS. University IT will test and release information regarding the compatibility with other University systems. Please note, University IT continues to provide support for Mac OS 10.4. The University IT Center Desk will provide basic support whenever possible.

• Mac OS 10.3.9 - 10.4.x and higher
• Mac OS 10.2.8 limited
• Mac OS 9.2 in classic mode only (limited) **

* University IT has discontinued full support for OS 9.x effective June 30, 2005

** Classic support will be limited to "best effort" for the following applications:

• Outlook 2001 for Exchange 2003
