Congratulations!
On October 16-19, 2008, more than 2,000 reunion alumni and guests gathered on the River Campus during Meliora Weekend to celebrate and reconnect with friends.
There were 13 concurrent class dinners, 8 “after-hours” parties, 3 class Lifetimes programs, and many programs alumni attended together, once again, as classmates. Each reunion class announced preliminary gift campaign totals. Several classes already exceeded goals and have set new records. And, the Yellowjackets soundly defeated the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on a sunny Saturday afternoon!
Alumni traveled from far and wide to mark their anniversary milestone. Classmates smiled, cheered, laughed, remembered, and promised to come back in five years to live it all again. Kudos to Jerry Gardner ’58, ’65 (Mas), P ’96 who received the James S. Armstrong ’54 Award for alumni service during Reunion Weekend on the occasion of his 50th reunion.
