				<p><P><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>This show is a&nbsp; retrospective look of more than 260 books by Rochesterian Keith Smith. <BR><BR>Smith is an innovator in the book arts and throughout his career has created&nbsp;one-of-a kind artist's books, poetry collections, textbooks and dictionaries. He has influenced book artists, bookbinders and printmakers through both his personal work and his textbooks.<BR><BR>This exhibit is&nbsp;open&nbsp;through September 15.<BR><BR>Smith has received two Guggenheim Fellowships, a National Endowment for the Art (NEA), and other grants, including the Pollock/Krasner Foundation, and the Pilot Fine Art Still Photography Grant in 2002. His work is in the collections of the Museums of Modern Art of New York and San Francisco.&nbsp;<BR><BR>Gallery hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday;&nbsp;11 a.m. to&nbsp;3 p.m., Saturday; and closed Sunday.<BR></FONT><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2><BR>This exhibit is free and open to the public. 				<p><P><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>For most people, the&nbsp;word chilvary brings about vivid&nbsp;images of knights and castles&nbsp;found in&nbsp;modern-day popular films and books, but the origins of the chivalry are far more complex than a "story-book character." <BR><BR>Daniel Franke, History graduate student, has put together a&nbsp;display of&nbsp;images and text, that explores the origins, developments, and decline of chivalry in the Middle Ages. <BR><BR>The exhibit is free and open to the public.
