UR Aquatics

The Mission

To provide a clean, safe environment for the university community to enjoy a variety of water activities.

Facilities

The Speegle-Wilbraham Pool is located in the Zornow Center of the River Campus Sports Complex. It features an eight-lane 25-yard by 25-meter pool with 5-6 foot depths, a separate pool for one and three meter diving and a Colorado electronic timing system. There is ample deck and balcony seating available.

This multi-purpose facility serves as the home of the UR Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Teams, the UR Water polo Club, the UR Masters Swimming Club, the UR Masters Swimming Club, UR Recreational Swimmers and American Red Cross classes.

This facility is also used to host many of the area's largest swimming competitions from YMCA District Championships to collegiate conference championships.

Lap swimming is offered seven days a week for students and members. Kick boards and pull buoys are available for use.

Guidelines

Courtesy! Please let other swimmers know when you are entering a lane.

Occupied Lanes! If the lane is occupied by one or more swimmers, proceed to circle swim (always on the right).

Average water temperature is between 80 and 82 degrees F.
