In a double-dual meet that finished up Saturday afernoon, the men's swimming and diving team produced top-three finishes in close to 10 events.
Rochester was outscored by Case Western Reserve, 212-177, and by NYU, 223-166. The meet was scored separately for each pairing (NYU beat Case, 230-159) although the teams competed together.
Backstroker Kevin Howard swam the best times of the event in both the 100 backstroke (0:54.35) and the 200 back (2:01.71). Dmitry Pedropavlovskiy was close to him in both events (100 - 0:56.33, 200 - 2:02.85).
Howard swam a 2:04.66 in the 200 IM and a 4:29.05 in the 400 IM.
Adam Bossert had a 1:02.32 inthe 100 breaststroke with Chris Jensen clocked in 1:02.42. Freshman Ian Kruper was third in the 50 free (0:21.97) and tied for fourth in the 100 fly (0:56.02). Freshman Christian Vu swam the 200 free (1:52.46), the 500 free (5:04.77), and as part of the 800 free relay (7:34.18) and the 400 free relay (3:25.00).
On the diving boards, Eliot Lasher was first on the one meter (197.70) with Kenny Johnson third (168.40). Lasher was second (220.60) and Johnson third (166.20) on the three-meter.
