STIMULUS FUNDING INFORMATION

President Obama recently signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (AARA or Stimulus Act) into law. Of the total $787 billion in funding provided under the Stimulus Act, $21.5 billion is reserved for federal research and development. These funds must be allocated within the next two years. This site has been developed to provide the most recent information on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (AARA or Stimulus Bill) for the campus community.

Note: Certain funding opportunities limit the number of applications per institution. In such cases, an Oversight Committee will review proposals and designate a particular group or group to proceed with an application. If you are interested in such an opportunity, please contact either Paul Slattery, Ed Puzas , or Tom Pearson with the funding opportunity #. Current limited submissions can be viewed here.Recovery Act Funding Opportunities (a service of the UR Clinical and Translational Science Institute) https://www.rochesterctsa.org/recovery-response/ (use Net ID and password to access site) NY State Guide to the 2009 ARRA http://economicrecovery.ny.gov/
