The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provides $500 million to Health Resources and Service Agency for Health Professions Workforce Shortages.

• $75 million of which is allocated for National Health Service Corps;
  
• Funding for scholarships, loan repayment and grants to training programs for equipment; information on specific programs not yet announced
