Approval of New Sites
Requests to create new University Web sites are reviewed by the University Web Group for general clarity, focus, and required elements (including appropriate use of University templates). However, responsibility for making sure that the contents are original, used with permission, and/or properly credited, etc. rests with the site publisher.
Requests for listings on pages such as the Index and top-level "sorting" pages should be submitted through the "Contact the University" page http://www.rochester.edu/contact/ by selecting the option: "add to the University web site (state URL of page or site.)" Requests should be as specific as possible and will be reviewed by the University Web Group for policy compliance, technical functionality, and relevancy of content.
